All documents we uploaded say accepted. IS that what you mean? That's why Im confused about the RFE. Been on hold for 40 minutes now with NVC, will probably hang up soon (calling from Dubai, international minutes 😞 )

Try calling again in the night time eastern time zone.

Must be so annoying. I myself can see my financial evidence admit gives me an application error. Have you submitted an inquiry?

Guess who just called NVC and passed out into what felt like the most amazing nap while on hold....... yep, me!!!

hahaha I woke up and realized I was out for hour and a half (I work nights).
Whoever pickedup must have heard a lovely snoring serenade 😂
Ok here’s what I got out of NVC today. I called because we paid our fees in November, and once we enter next month, mover is only 5 months away. People call me pessimistic, I just see it as being precocious. According to the website if one year passes from the date that I paid our fees we no longer get to have the interview. So I want to know what will happen if the worst case scenario happens and  Consulate’s are still closed by November....will I be out of all the fees that I paid?
after I woke up from my nap I called back again and got a very, very rude lady who answered very condescending. I asked to speak to a Tier 2 Supervisor and she literally said all the embassies are closed so what more do you want at this point.
After realizing she wasn’t going to put me through I explained my question and she said no I will not lose my fees “as long as You play with your fingers and login to the Ceac website once a year”.
I wasn’t pleased with that answer because the website clearly says after one year the fees Expire. She got upset and put me on hold for two minutes then came back and said there wasn’t any supervisors available and that I do not have to call back if November comes..... all I have to do is log into the website to maintain my account active and not lose my fees.
I’m not buying that answer so I asked her to have a supervisor call me back since she couldn’t give me a clear answer to begin with. I know you have to keep contact throughout the year, but I’m not about to let November roll around and NOT have a supervisor tell me on recording that I won’t lose my fees. I’ve come to far to simply “play with my finger” and login.

Wow that lady was rude! But If you check the receipt of the fee payment, it says there if more than a year has passed since you last contacted nvc or logged in on ceac, all fees and forms submitted will expire. So to me that means your fee won’t expire as long as you keep contact with them 🤔

Hi guys, I received a Case FE Review note but the thing is I haven't submitted my civil docs yet. Offices are still closed from where I am. I can't read the note too. I wonder what it is about.

I submitted my DS-260 on April 30, my husband submitted his financial docs on April 28. Since then, I haven't submitted anything.

I just got DQ today! I called them yesterday to ask for status, not sure if that helped, as they just brushed me off with "we're still working on Feb 14 submissions . . . ", but very pleasantly surprised to get DQ.

I believe the NVC only has one location, Portsmouth, NH. My USCIS processing center was the dreaded Nebraska office, which took over a year to approve my I-130.

Wishing you luck for a quick DQ!

Hi Carpfan,

Thank you! Thank you! I called NVC May 20th to ask about my status and they said they were working on Feb 14th as of last week. I told them I only had to resubmit my 1 doc and it wasn’t fair they put it on the bottom of the pile again, to which she told me to email because she didn’t have an answer. She was very polite.

On 22nd, I got my document qualified and I cannot thank you enough. We told our lawyer about what happened and this time he said it doesn’t go in the bottom of the pile if you resubmit. Last time he had said that with this whole corona, he can’t predict NVC timeline. Anyways longstory short, thank you carpfan. Now just patiently waiting for the damn consulates to open 😊 .

I've been seeing a lot of those FE reviews. It might have to do with assets if you're using any.
