Don't worry, I probably log on about 20 times if not more a day. Hoping I get their attention. Honestly I'm just fed up with how NVC works and their whole system.

Ha if logging in often gets their attention, I should definitely have it by now! 😂

Hoping your case gets pulled soon too!

I think your lawyer should have uploaded the explanation in the place of the document instead leaving that place open. But that’s only my guess because we were advised by NVC to do the same: if a document is not available, click “not available” and enter an explanation in the comment section that explains why it’s not there.

did they send you a message in the message box that explains what they want from you?

My lawyer actually did upload it under that missing document. I even checked after he did. It showed “Submitted” with the explanation letter and a note also. Now the explanation letter is showing up as an additional AOS document for some reason. The status for the letter shows as “Accepted” and the status for that document again shows as “‘Missing”. There is a message, but the content won’t open. I can just see the title of the message. I haven’t been able to read any of my messages on there.

No she didn't. She said since there isn't a large amount of new files coming thru they pulled people from some departments and are training them qualify documents.  I would think once USCIS starts running at a normal pace, the training will stop.

I forgot to ask, how did you manage to speak with a supervisor?

I need help please!!!
This is about the previous addresses where the beneficiary lived. When I filed the i-130 application, I did some research, called USCIS and even hired a lawyer. And the answer was that I don't have to include the school address in my past address since it is not her permanent address and she not lived. Now when filing the DS 260 application they mention that even if a person stayed in a hostel this is considered as an address and needs to be included. I fear that there will be a mistake in my i-130 and DS 260 application. What do you suggest I should do? How can I fix this?

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had many questions regarding my wife ds260 and called NVC about it. All they said was that you can explain to the Interviewing officer.

Thank you. This makes me relieve. I thought to sending a paper explain the difference. Do you advice for that?

What I plan on doing is printing out the ds260 and highlighting the incorrect answers. We had a lawyer on our case and they put a couple wrong answers. I've counted about 4 so far. I called nvc and what they told me was to tell my wife to bring it up during the interview.

After speaking with the initial gentlemen who told me the same song and dance about we are working on blah blah blah, I kindly asked to speak to a Tier 2 Officer and he said no problem.  One wasn't available so I asked to leave a message for a call back.  Someone called back within 10 minutes.  I was shocked.  If I didn't ask to leave a message, I would've had to call back.  He didn't offer that option.  I think they are trained to read what's on their screen and try to hurry you off the phone lol

Yeah, I see what you're saying about getting you off the line. I guess they are being monitored and timed with how long they take to handle a call. And I guess they might have a quota as to how many calls they take per shift.

Well It is looking like stage 2 of the easing of the lockdown will be commencing June 1st in England. I do hope that it's possible for the US embassy to reopen in London.

The charts seem to suggest that new cases, deaths and hospital occupation are falling even with more tests being conducted. I just hope as am I sure many do that R keeps bellow 1 for person to person transmission rate.

Is there dedicated topic relating to embassies that are reopening? I have seen June 4th thrown around a few times as that was a date the USCIS was intending to resume services, conditions permitting.

Stay safe, Matt
