Whenever I go to visit my husband I get sick when I come back.. heart broken!!! I hate that feeling.. I will go visit when he can come back with me... the separation is just too much to bear 😓😓

Thanks so much for reminding me.. I totally forgot

No problem! Even though you might have to wait another day, I hope you're able to sort this out soon!

I know I should expect 1 to 3 months but my heart beats faster everytime I get a notification that I got an email. "Is it THE email?!!!"

Same! Especially given that so many cases have been reviewed out of order lately. I keep reminding myself to assume it takes the normal time, but I still even log into the website every day just to check! 😬

If I submitted everything and everything just says submitted I dont have to do anything else but wait right?

It seems like there should be some final submission button after you have uploaded everything.

That's my understanding. Everything on my screen says PAID, COMPLETED, and SUBMITTED where appropriate and I think it just stays like that until they review and it switches to ACCEPTED. I wish this site had a "last touch" date like the USCIS site!

Basically yes, but I called them once and asked if everytime I log on it interferes with them and the rep told me it doesnt. It just shows the times I have logged on to them.  Somehow that helps.

Haha oh no, they will see how many times I have logged on! Pretty sure I've done it at least a couple times a day. Though, I'm guessing I'm probably not the only one...

Hi everyone. I am a bit confused so I thought I’d ask you guys for some clarity. Last week we got an email about a status change in the CEAC portal. I logged in and saw that one financial document was showing as “Missing”. I told my lawyer and he submitted an explanation letter for not having that document. Today I got another email about a status change. The explanation letter is showing as “Accepted”. However, the document is showing as “Missing” again even though they saw the explanation and accepted it. Has anyone experienced something like this? Has anyone had a “Missing” document, but still gotten DQ? And typically how long does DQ take after all documents have been accepted?

Don't worry, I probably log on about 20 times if not more a day. Hoping I get their attention. Honestly I'm just fed up with how NVC works and their whole system.

Well I'm a USC and it has not been a walk in the park. More like a walk in a park with thorns. But hopefully that's not your case.

Yes - sorry I didn’t mean to suggest that the journey is automatically an easy one when the petitioner is USC 😊 we’ve been through some hoops too. RFE where we had to overcome the 5 year rule for LPRs to be eligible to sponsor, as well as proof of bonafide marriage and other things of that sort. 8 lbs of paperwork. Nothing can scare me at this point except for this stupid suspension of visa eligibility 😁

Hello I have a concern/ question

I paid both fees AOS and civil on the same day.. My husband is able to upload documents since Friday, mines AOS is still saying fee in progress.. Is there anything I can do? Has this occurred before? Am a little concerned 😟.. than you

Hey for me it took almost 10 days to clear civil, even though aos was approved instantly. Dont worry, it will work out if it has cleared the bank

I think your lawyer should have uploaded the explanation in the place of the document instead leaving that place open. But that’s only my guess because we were advised by NVC to do the same: if a document is not available, click “not available” and enter an explanation in the comment section that explains why it’s not there.

did they send you a message in the message box that explains what they want from you?
