I just hope this nightmare of waiting for NVC to review documents and DQ them ends soon for me. I have a priority date of June 28, 2018 so you can imagine how long it has been for me.

Yes, it must be frustrating. I’m not a USC (LPR only) so for us it currently doesn’t matter at all if we get DQ or not. I don’t want us to have an interview only to be told that it’s refused because we’re suspended from being issued a visa.

But I am lucky that I was able to get on a repatriation flight to my hubby so at least we’re waiting together for all this to be over :) I’m planning to fly back once my citizen interview us been scheduled and from there it will hopefully be a walk in the park 🙏🏽

I finally got to talk with NVC

The girl told me that once you get DQ you should not upload any documents, because they aren’t going to review them.

she also told me that I should take to the interview those documents mentioned in the case documents review note.

I got DQ and asked me to submit work permit as proof that my husbab is eligible to interview in canada as non Canadian citizen. If they don't accept documents after DQ, can embassy still see document in CEAC. I did submit inquiry as i kept getting lovely NVC message when i called.

Tuesday

You should have been able to submit documents. Have you made sure with your bank that the payment did go thru?

Tell me about it. I hope it's not something they will have to escalate to a supervisor. Did you try calling them and asking them?

Well I'm a USC and it has not been a walk in the park. More like a walk in a park with thorns. But hopefully that's not your case.

Tell me about it. I mean I can travel to visit my wife and son but it's just heartbreaking knowing that my wife can't travel back with us. I say us because I was able to get my sons CRBA so he can travel but I wont take him away from his mom (my wife). Hes only about to be 2 years old.

I wouldn't count on them being open on Monday since it's Memorial Day. Most likely you will have to wait until Tuesday for answers.

Whenever I go to visit my husband I get sick when I come back.. heart broken!!! I hate that feeling.. I will go visit when he can come back with me... the separation is just too much to bear 😓😓
