Hi Everyone!!

Some Good and bad news. Got an RFE today. Made a mistake in I864 form from Sponsor and Joint sponsor (we didnt upload the last couple of pages i guess) and marriage certificate was also not the one they wanted (they are asking for one that has an official stamp on it that is going to be a little hard to get with COVID.

IM also having lots of trouble opening the messages from CEAC.

First  and only Submission April 24th!

Hope we can get everything together ASAP.

Thata what happened to me with the civil docs I uploaded an electronic version I got online, however, they wanted one with the stamp,  seal.

I finally got all documents submitted. I have 2 NVC cases so there were 4 i864s and 2 864as. Joint sponsor and family member. Cover letters, recent pay stubs, w2s, taxes.

It took 2 days to scan and upload everything. Today I started at 9am and didnt finish until 9pm. I didnt even eat anything today lol.

I talked with a tier 2 supervisor earlier and she said that there is currently a training program going on at NVC to train new ones how to review cases.  She said the reason for all these new DQ's being completed so quickly is because of this program.  She said whomever has been qualified quickly was lucky enough to get their files pulled and put in the rotation for review with the trainees.  She informed me that our case was pulled and should be review by early next week.  I told her I have been waiting since March 7th for resubmission review and was getting very concerned why so many have been qualified when they submitted after me.  Only left to do is wait more.  I pray we get DQ early next week.  My poor baby girl (10 years old) is getting very depressed.  Even though we still have to wait for the embassy to open, it would be nice to get NVC behind us.  Have a wonderful, safe weekend all!

Did the tier 2 supervisor tell you how long was the training was going for?

haha different stories!! Please let me know what NVC says.

I finally got to talk with NVC

The girl told me that once you get DQ you should not upload any documents, because they aren’t going to review them.

she also told me that I should take to the interview those documents mentioned in the case documents review note.

Hey everyone!

so NVC looked over our documents and told us that our

1. Birth certificate was not the correct one (my husbands which I know which one he now needs)

2. Military certificate (and again, I know which one he needs to upload and obtain)

we submitted the 2 wrong ones but currently with everything going on, do we just replace the documents with the same ones and write a comment saying we will obtain the documents once the interview is scheduled? How do we go about this?

Did you actually submitted initially the military certificate, or did they requested you to add it in the submitted documents?

No she didn't. She said since there isn't a large amount of new files coming thru they pulled people from some departments and are training them qualify documents.  I would think once USCIS starts running at a normal pace, the training will stop.

Thank you for your feedback. I really hope your documents get reviewed soon. I just recently had to resubmit 2 documents as well. I resubmitted them on May 19th.

Did you say the "is" or "isn't " a large amount of files?

There isn't a large amount coming into NVC from USCIS right now so they pulled people from other departments to clean up the backlog at NVC.

Shifting the backlog from NVC to the embassies is what they meant to say 😁

That's good news. Hopefully, they catch up.

I just hope this nightmare of waiting for NVC to review documents and DQ them ends soon for me. I have a priority date of June 28, 2018 so you can imagine how long it has been for me.
