That's so frustrating. It's also really confusing as to why they seem so fixated on W-2s from people. I sent in a IRS transcript for my 2018 tax returns but then I went back in and uploaded the W-2 for that year because I saw so many RFEs coming in. Maybe I still didn't need to because I wasn't married and didn't file jointly at that point, but I'm so afraid of having to get back into line. Hopefully they don't penalize people for including this info if they don't think you should have.

I know right, and i figured i added all the w-2 for 2019 plus tax extension so why add 2018 🤦‍♀️

It's strange what's happening with the W2 RFEs.

We got DQ with a transcript only, no joint sponsor, I-864EZ, income unquestionably above the minimums.  NVC submission mid March.

That sounds similar to my scenario, but I chickened out and included the W-2 anyway. I did also include my 2019 W-2 because I haven't filed those taxes yet and because I switched jobs so I thought the numbers might look weird to them if I didn't include it up front.

Congrats on your DQ!!

Hm is that how it works? That's what they said for the USCIS process and the NVC process as well right? That the people who submitted at an earlier date will have priority over the people who submitted later but that does not seem to be the case for both processes so I'm skeptical that when the embassies do open, our cases will be lined up by the order that it was received by the NVC

Don't get me wrong, it sucks that you're still waiting to get DQ'ed but whether you get DQ'ed today or a week from now, we're all still waiting for embassies to open. When they do open, who knows what order they will interview at.

My understanding is that people who had interviews canceled will get rescheduled before us who are sitting at NVC still. BUT I've read many different stories of some people being sneaky and weaseling their way into the embassies currently, some even pretending to be Americans who need urgent appointments. For me I believe its gonna be a mess with people trying to find ways to get ahead of others. We'll see.

Submitted all my documents on April 30

Most documents were approved today (May 21)

Three documents need to be uploaded again in Household Member section, because I'm an idiot.

But of course, the system is giving me that ridiculous "Security Exception" error.

Had I uploaded everything correctly I probably would have been DQ'd today. Oh well.

How did you find out you had to submit documents for household member?

Not sure what you mean. A few of my docs were rejected because I uploaded them under the joint sponsor section and not the household member

You answered my question. What message did you get on CEAC? What was the subject line?

"Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case"

Thank you. The reason I'm asking Is because i got civil documents accepted, most. And in the Financial evidence part section it says incomplete and when I click on it I get a system error. I called NVC and they told me to not worry about that. That it might be a glitch but in their end the financial evidence shows a "complete".

the message said that if you are not Canadian citizen, they require proof that you are eligible to interview in Canada. Options are student visa, landing papers, permanent card or work permit. So they most likely won't schedule interview until we submit documents. I will submit them tonight and call NVC tomorrow. Thanks

Hey,

I am a PR in canada but working in Seattle currently. I currently have the same message as you but unfortunately not DQ'ed. I called today and they asked me to upload as "additional document" in Civil document section. Please keep us updated on what you hear.
