I've been long distance for 5 years. I'm ready to live in the same place with my love. 

I believe I've just made peace with the fact that approvals don't come on a first come/first serve basis and worrying about it doesn't change a thing :)

I do care a lot, but as a result I spend half my time in my hubbies country until he can join me in the US :)

I feel you. The travels can be draining. But it will all end eventually.

Seems they are reviewing documents from all over ..  Who knows whats next with the great ways of the NVC approval system 🤦‍♀️

If you're approved on May 19th, and someone else May 20th, the person approved May 19th will have their interview first when the embassies open.

I waited over 200 days to get my noa2. That is a lot longer than some and a lot shorter than others. Most of the people getting approved in this thread aren't even in the embassy im going to. I'm not saying it doesn't matter I'm saying in the grand scheme of things it doesn't make much of a difference.

 

The reality is I've read people coming up with theories about being in line due to pd date and when you moved to NVC and when you submit Etc. No one really knows why or how things happen so the best bet is just to do what you can efficiently and hope for the best. Worrying about who gets approved when doesn't make it go any faster and to me feels like its breeding jealousy and frustration. I'm happy for everyone who gets approved and I don't think that will change when I do one bit. The die was cast the second I applied for my cr1.

Good to see all the NVC DQ's! Hopefully the backlog to schedule interviews won't be too bad. 

 

Looks like USCIS is approving cases much faster than a year ago.

Today I got a message from NVC they accepted most of my documents, however, I had to replace 2 of them. For the financial part I got an incomplete. I called NVC and the lady told me everything looks right on their end. that it has been completed. When I click on the incomplete part it tells me system error. Has anyone encountered this? I submitted Docs on April 6th!

Which is why I think it is extremely unfair that ppl are DQ'd way ahead of other people. Just like with USCIS and one center processing months faster than another. 

So now, all the ppl that DQ'd out of order and way faster will get interview way faster. 

Who knows if the interviews will be in order.

Thanks! I got two emails at the same time. One said I had a message from NVC and to log into CEAC and check, the other said they were now working with the embassy to schedule my interview. 

 

Then I logged in to see the “everything accepted” message.
