I guess you are right! Lol but it’s been 12 weeks and it would just nice to be ready for the next step.

For sure! Your time will definitely come. You'll be able to call the NVC earliest by next week probably once they update their timeline and have passed Feb 20 submissions. But for now, people who have been DQ'ed are all just still waiting until further notice like you.

You can still prepare for the next step by reviewing and gathering the necessary documents for whenever interviews do take place (prob at least 1-2 months from now)

Hi guys. Has anyone been unable to open a message in the CEAC portal? I can see the message title, but I can’t see the content of the message. I’m not sure why.

Yeah it happens all the time. Either click the title several times or wait until the message is displayed. Or try changing browsers. Its kinda tricky to get the message to display 😅

I just got DQ!!

Like I said I originally submitted documents March 20. 2020   then I decided to upload something 2 hours ago to test the theory about the electronic system ( NOT sure if that's what it is) but I have a message on CEAC and an email saying I'm DQ'ed!

Hubby is in Jamaica and the embassy is closed but I'm so happy to be done with this part of the NVC

I can’t believe!!! Super! Congratulations 🎉

Wow, congrats! That's definitely an interesting theory, but I'm curious if it only works if it's been a few weeks since you originally submitted. I submitted on Tuesday of last week and then after reading about so many people getting RFE for not including W-2s, I decided to upload mine on Friday. It didn't seem to trigger NVC to view my documents. I won't get my hopes up for it to happen any time soon given the average wait, but it would be amazing if somehow it got DQd as quickly as some on this thread have experienced!

I have no clue. It was a great risk to take. Wait it out and see and if nothing decided with your partner if it's something you guys want to try.

I'm in total awe!

I tried that (uploading for trigger) on April 24 after all the quick DQs started and it didn’t work for me 😶😂

Oh no. What was your original date?

I believe April 9, I don’t even remember and the system only shows the upload dates (which in my case are all over the place) not the submission date
