Hi, I've received my NVC welcome letter on Apr 28th, somehow I don't see a DS261 form under my account.. only two payments  : AOS and DS260. Should I just go ahead and pay these two ?

I had the same question and I called NVC. They just told me I didn't need that part. I don't think it's a requirement anymore.  Do they have your email address on file?

Thank you! I'm not sure, but I suppose they do. Both my husband and I receive notifications from them ...

If you receive notifications then they do. You can always check on CEAC website. You can always call them. It seems like now it's a good time to call. It seems theres not even a wait time. But like I I said before. If you receive notifications from them. Then they do have your email.

JPG format is accepted. I was just saying to do it PDF format because that way for sure you know it's the right side up.

Hi,

Yes, we submitted the docs to NVC without the PCC.

We added in an explanation why we do not have it at the moment and once it becomes available we will bring it on the day of the interview.

I saw someone else in the group getting a DQ without submitting the PCC and adding in an explanation.

Oh that's great. Thanks for confirming!

By your NOA1 , do you mean your I130 got accepted January 2019?

I think they mean the date when petition was received. Some have started building a theory that the fast approvals from NVC are coming for folks with old cases/long wait times at USCIS

Yes - submitting the DS-260 unlocks the next step under civics documents where you upload beneficiary civics documents. NVC won’t start reviewing until all three pieces of the puzzle (financials, DS-260, civic documents) have been submitted

I think NVC post earlier processing date (such as Feb 13) on their website so that people who submitted after that date would not call them with questions like "when? when? when?" . they say loud and clear when you call them that they are working with reduced staff and asking to not call to check the case status. now that doesn`t mean people won`t, so that`s why they "slow down" their processing. and the cases that do get reviewed later must get their attention somehow to be put in front of the line. that is my theory. solely my opinion.

I called them today (remove lawyer issue) and the wait time was very short, so I believe they are not too busy. I am happy with that and not going to call anymore because that does not help with speeding up process and will just let them work.

submitted DS260 March 03, most of docs on March 10, added a few docs on March 28th.
