Another waiting game begins!!!

Hi @bharath and manu @Anmol Yash

Did you to submit the civil documents without the PCC? If Yes, how do we submit that once it becomes available after the lockdown?

Hi Rosie,

first you must file your own affidavit ( I-864) then it will give you the option to add the joint sponsor. Regardless if you are eligible to support the beneficiary or not, the petitioner needs to file his/her own I-864.
Good luck.

hello everyone!

anybody here has gotten DQ recently with only form 1040/W2? I know transcripts are better but form 1040/W2 is what I submitted because that's what out "lawyer' told us to upload and submit 😕

We used our personal copies of our tax returns from 2018. Got DQ about a week ago, no problem.

We couldn't get the 2018 transcripts so we submitted 1040 in* place of 2018 transcripts and got DQ two weeks later

thank you, hopefully we don't come across any issues!

Hi,

Yes, we submitted the docs to NVC without the PCC.

We added in an explanation why we do not have it at the moment and once it becomes available we will bring it on the day of the interview.

I saw someone else in the group getting a DQ without submitting the PCC and adding in an explanation.

Since I'm a little newbie when it comes to NVC process, can you guys tell me what happens after you get your documents qualified? You wait for your interview date and then that's it??? You can move right away? How long do you have after the interview when you HAVE to move to the States?

Trying to figure out the timings since we're not ready to move yet, don't want to start the process too early
