AOS rejected

my wife and I submitted AOS forms which was received on February 24th but has been returned back with the reason that forms i944 and/or form I864EZ are required. I think once I didn't submit after 24th I shouldn't be asked to fill I944 or I864. Im confused now ANY HELP??!!

Take a look at the February and March filers groups. It happened to a lot of people there. I think all of them have filed again with the new forms. Can't remember anyone who appealed against it

Definitely have to fill out the form I 944 and ( I 864 or I 864ez ). Please take your time completing the I 944. My entire case was rejected because my I 944 wasn't completely filled out. The i 944 is a pain in the butt and requires evidence for pretty much each question. Just start gathering your information and refile.

Make sure you learn what is required and send the I-864s for both the petitioner and joint sponsor(s) as well as the I-944.  There has been at least one case recently which was outright denied for failure to do so.......

Yes.  You are filing a new AOS package.  All AOS packages now require the I-944......and the I-864 is definitely required...I would submit both.

It sounds like an I-864 was never provided. If so, that would be the main reason for the packet to be rejected. But since it's after the 24th now, both the I-864 and I-944 are now required (and note the I-864 version is updated).

Yes. If your wife doesn't meet the poverty line for your household, then you'll need a joint sponsor. Regardless, if your wife is the petitioner she still needs to fill out form I-864/i864EZ. Then the joint sponsor will need to fill out their own form I-864. 

If your joint sponsor lives with somebody else, and they are going to use that other person's income to qualify, then that person has to fill out form I-864a.

And yes, you need to include form I-944

Well thats Not the reason to not fill required forms. Get a cosponsor and file again.

Thank you all we have been able to fill the i944 and the 864 with all relevant documents added.
