hi guys

i finally got my greencard just today arrived in the mail. i even checked my portfolio and they just touched my aos now.

i'd like to thank VJ and the members helping me answer all the questions. hope u received urs soon.

01/12/2007 I-130 filed in person at the Consulate in Frankfurt

01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Living in Maryland

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

07/20/2007 Social Security Card arrived

Living@working in Maryland :)

01/18/2009 PCS-ing to Stuttgart Germany

Feb 2009 Received letter from VSC to start removing conditions.

Getting ready the packet for Removing Conditions I-751

03/12/2009 Mailed the I-751 packet to Vermont Service Center

lol that was the first thing i noticed! i remember i put a little bit of make up but still looks like the picture was taken during 60's....errrrrrr.....funny thing is i never thought it was my gc coz it was just an ordinary white envelop...kind of junk mail, u know. i got curious tho coz my name was on it and it came from California, so i had i hunch it came from csc and i was right it was the permanent resident card!

7/06/06 - Appt notice issued for children's biometric

7/10/06 - rec'd notice, children's biometrics appt scheduled for 7/18/06

7/14/06 - rec'd notice for biometrics -appt. July 27,2006, E-mail notification of RFE

7/18/06 - biometrics completed for children and self

7/31/06 - e-mail notice that RFE info was rec'd and decision will be mailed for I765

8/23/06 - I-485 touched

9/12/06 - e-mail rec'd I765 approved, new card ordered

10/21/06 - I-485 touched,130 for children touched

10/22/06- I-485 touched ,EAD touched, I-485 for children touched

4/30/07- notice EAD for kids approved, will mail card after biometrics appt

still longing for$180 but we cant do anything about it. i didnt received my EAD yet and i checked my portfolio they keep touching on it and just today they sent me a message that they sent an approval notice of my EAd...odd.....

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Funny...we got the EAD 1 day before our AOS interview. But they get to keep all our $ anyway!!!
