My case is DQ at NVC in March. I received an email from the NVC congressional informing me that my case is DA and it was on the 29, 2022. On April 1, I received an email from NVC informing me officially that my case was DQ.

I have tried to log in to my CEAC account but I saw: that the case you have attempted to access is not eligible to be processed further by the NVC at this time.

What does this me?

Case: IB1- immediate relative category

County: Liberia

You need to email the consulate and ask them when they plan to interview this category to address the issue.  THere are times when the consulate has limited the interview schedule for certain categories.  NVC will not let you move forward until they receive an interview date from the consulate.

I got DQ on March 29, 2022, and I was informed by NVC Congressional. On April 1, 2022, I received an email from NVC that I am DQ and in the queue for an interview.

I tried to login into my CEAC account but sign-in failed. What could be the problem?

It could be a technical issue.

Thanks, so it seems like follow-to-join petition will be reviewed faster than other regular cases (as the NVC timeframe indicates). Is it right to understand it this way?

Not sure about that. It heavily depends of the consulate/embassy who will process your case after NVC. For example, I’ve been DQ since January 2021 and still receiving emails from Ciudad Juárez consulate that my case is queue. I ended up adjusting status and received my GC few months back

Hi folks! Any new updates on timeline. I have submitted my DS260 on May 9th, and my package was delivered on May 12. Been wondering how long it will take to received DQ.

Mine took 6 weeks from date they received our docs.  Goodluck!

Which country or US Embassy are you going to have your interview? If London, in December 2021, they were interviewing August 2020 DQ dates under EB2.  But the embassy only opened partially in July 2021 after closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

I will have my interview in China. That's such a long wait. Brutal. Fingers crossed for faster turnover now.

I contacted NVC and a lady told me that I will have access to the CEAC when my case is transferred to the Embassy in Monrovia, Liberia.

I called again and a gentleman told me that my case status was awaiting adjustment of status. I told him that I am not in the US. I told him that I was in Liberia and have never been to the United States.

I received an email with information that my case status was changed to awaiting Consular processing and it is inline to receive an interview date at the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, Liberia.

I now have access to the CEAC.
