I am a US Citizen and live in the US. I am  sponsoring my  husband who lives over seas.  We are uploading our documents to CEAC. I have two questions:

1) I am sponsoring him based on just my income (filled out I-864EZ), I am NOT joint sponsoring with anyone. Do I need to upload my birth certificate? My husband is uploading his but I am not sure if I should upload mine (it's not showing as a required document for me)

2) His country is on lockdown due to the COVID and so we're not able to get his police report yet. Should we submit all our other documents right now and provide a letter that says the reason why we don't have a police report as of right now? Or should we wait until we get it? We don't know how long the lockdown will be for.

1. You don’t need to submit.

2. I would wait and submit all the required documents together so you don’t get RFE which would further delay your case.
