Hello All!

I am so elated because I received notice that our I130 was approved (US Citizen petitioning Colombian husband)!!!!!

49 days!!!!! Wow.  This was A LOT faster than I expected during this pandemic and for a US/Colombia CR-1 Visa.

I would like to know if someone could clarify this for me, perhaps I'm confused.

My NOA1 stated that I would be sent to Texas, but in my acceptance notification it seems that I'm being send to New Hampshire?  I was told to reach out in a month about tracking my case as well.

"The above petition has been approved. As the petitioner requests, we have sent the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC),
32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that need consular action. It also determines
which consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. The NVC will then forward the approved petition to that consulate.
The NVC will contact the beneficiary of this petition with further information about immigrant visa processing steps."

I would appreciate any advice!  THANK YOU ALL!

Congratulations! That was very fast. Your petition was approved at the Texas service center, now they will send it to NVC to continue the visa processing. You need to wait until you receive an email with your case number so you can access the CEAC portal where you continue the process. So now you need to read about the NVC stage, it is online, and after paying the fees, you need to upload and submit documents that apply to your case, and also the beneficiary has to complete the ds 260 form.
you can read about the next steps here:

good luck!

Thank you very much for this information!!! Yes, I am in shock it was this quick.

This NOA2 I received came from the California Service Center, though.. could it be that I was transferred somehow?

Probably! I have read here many petitions have been transferred lately. But now the USCIS part for you is over, so that’s very good. It took us almost two months to receive our case number after the approval notification, but I have seen it is a lot quicker for some people recently. So now you have to wait for a new email with your case number,  and start looking what documents you will need so you can complete this part of the process faster :)

Congratulations!!! We were approved I guess yesterday, only 100 days😍, and received NVC email today. Did your email include your NVC case number? Ours did so I’m really wondering why the crazy fast speed, we aren’t ready for this stage yet lol.

Have you seen people getting their NVC case number included on their welcome letter from NVC? We found out we were approved yesterday, in 100 days, because we received our NVC letter email today, which has our new NVC Case number on it.
This is almost moving too fast, feels weird, we aren’t close to ready lol. Also sorta sucks cuz there isn’t gonna be much additional relationship  proof to submit for these fast approvals.

Yes, ours moved so quickly as well!!! Congratulations to you both.

I received my NVC Case Number after a day also!  I think that the COVID pandemic somehow is speeding things along for many.

Congratulations to you both too!!! Are you guys prepared for NVC or had you figured you had a while yet? Because of the lack of time between submitting 130 and getting to NVC, we won’t have a ton of extra proof to submit, are you guys in same boat? I did have a month long trip planned to see my husband in India but obviously that had to be rescheduled 😥. Really hoping it can happen in July-August when I rebooked tickets for but who knows what the world will be like then.
We always forget to take screenshots of things we do over video call with each other’s families. Sometimes forget we are on opposite sides of the world cuz it just feels like we’re together, thinking about having to prove that is something we forget about till after the fact lol.

Yes, I almost don't feel prepared!!! hahaha.  I submitted quite a lot of proof of our relationship, etc.. not sure how much more we have to prove at NVC phase?

I am very grateful it's moving so quickly.  Now, I am just concerned about getting all the financial documents together so soon!!
