Is the NVC send out a welcome letter via email or post mail? Our PD also showed up for VB may 2020.

Yes, if they have your email you will receive  the letter via email and they will also mail it out to you.

Hi Athea, you said that your mom received the letter from NVC, but you did not. Is that right? My PD is about 6 months away, so I'm curious what to expect once my PD becomes current.

Hello!

My brothers priority date is 03 Oct. 2010. My mom got an EMAIL from the NVC last 11 May 2020 that their visa is available and will start the process. Currently, we are now filling up DS-260 forms, submitting civil documents & AOS and tax transcripts (after paying the necessary fees).

Hope you get yours soon

Yes because she was the petitioner and the nvc already provided a new case number and Invoice ID number for us. And that’s how you going to start your process ie pay the visa for the applicant and the petitioner once paid next is the DS-260 and the affidavit of support
