About to send off my I-751 packet....planning to FEDEX it tomorrow to AZ Lockbox. Cards expire on 6/8...so sending it a little later than we wanted, but....yeah. I notice a few are sending in marriage certificates...which should be on file with the original Green Card application. Is it recommended to resend the marriage certificate? It doesn't say on I-751 Instructions.

I felt I was a little slim on my utility-type bills too, but hopefully showing that I have a mortgage with both of our names holds much more weight....

As for a marriage certificate, it's not at all required as it doesn't show the marriage is on-going, only that it happened, which they already know. The only reason at all I sent mine in at all, was because my brother signed as a witness and I hoped to show that family attended and were aware of the event, etc.

EDIT:

I could share a bit of an update on my status too. Filed May 11. Delivered with receipt on May 12 to Lewisville UPS location. Check not yet cashed, and of course like everyone else, no NOA yet, but also not expected yet.

Hi, as they charge your card they have your  package. My suggestion call USCIS and explain that you need your receipt number just bring your Alien number maybe the provide to you the number..

And not expect your NOA soon because they have delays.. 😞 april filers are still waiting for Extension letter (NOA)...  but when you reach 30 day mark they receive your package (June 8) you can submit request uscis website to get NOA

Good luck 👍

I was just about to ask you all for the wait times regarding a receipt and see the messages above.

It seems we are all in the same boat. I mailed off the package last week, it was received on Friday and I have yet to receive a case number.

How long did you all have to wait?

I was ready for my N-400 interview and the field office wants to merge both cases but is waiting for the case number in order to request the package. They already warned me, though, that it may take weeks to get the package to the field office.

Oh and I just noticed, I didn't add the "notification form"... meaning, I won't get a text message or anything. I totally forgot. Oh my.

Hi 👋

It doesn’t matter if you not include form g1145 for notifications..

They receive your Package recently, I got my text msg 4 days after they received..

You can call them next week, just said that you need you I-751 receipt number.. they should provide to you bringing your alien #

With that number is a peace of mind to you... and can track your case on check case status on Uscis website

Not expect NOA for 30 days 😞 after they received the package...  at that time  we can submit request inquiry for get NOA on their website and wait for an answer usually the respond between 2 weeks and they resend the Noa

hopelly this information helps

We all are in the same boat  wait... wait... 😆

Good luck to you all who’ve recently submitted! I’m still impatiently waiting for my letter to arrive so I have something to physically show people. My GC expires on the 25th so I’d feel better to have something in hand other than a text message.

Hi, you will fine without attorney

1. You can request IRS trancrypt tax return by phone or on their website just need open an account and you can plenty print out from your computer. Remember Uscis only want one side copies.. if IRS send to you transcripts double side page you should take a copy one single side..  transcripts usually are just a few pages not too much of tax return. If you request by phone take a week get in your mail... the only question they ask is the reason what your need and you said immigration proposes it’s pretty simple request it.

2. One check is fine payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security total $680 on said memo write I-751 application and Biometric fee don’t forget sign the check and put the correct date on it.

3. Birth certificate of child is a strong evidence. (Only copy they not accept original) You can add copy of marriage certificate. Don’t forget copy of your conditional residence card (front and back).

Well you did a mistake not include your name on at least one bill it doesn’t matter if the house was under your husband name.. now you can do it’s go ahead with other strongs evidence.. put phone statements during your marriage.. if is the only bill that you have you can show that you live there since the beginning...

Financial: put every single statement month by mont, during your marriage

Transcript Tax return, any receipt under both name if you bought any electrodomestic or something..

Costco  or Sam’s membership

You need include any letter or bill under your name with your address for proof that you guys live together like:

Copy of driver license with the same address..

Put at least water or power bill under your husband name..

Strong affidavit from his family and your family, friends and neighbors if is posible.. but you need put at least 4... for the reason that you don’t have lease or warranty deed of the house.

Any insurances auto, life, homeowners, copy of that.

Any tickets under yours names like Disney parks, airlines tickets, movies tickets, hotel reservations, restaurant reservation, sunpass screenshot showing address and plate of your vehicle etc..

put social media screenshots showing date of the publication.. like birthdays wishes, anniversary.

If you have text msgs, emails put any screenshots

A lot pictures together with your child and with the family and friends.

Church and other statements helps too.

Put a strong cover letter using exhibits on the bottom of your package.

Good luck

Thank you! I was able to Print the tax return transcript/ I previously printed the 1040 as well for each year, Should I include those as well?

Also what do you call that office supply where it allows you to put exhibit (A-Z), I plan to use it for organization,

I live in FL and the address is USCIS P.O. Box 660480 Dallas, TX 75266 to send. Do I put anything on the envelope? How do they know its for 1-751?

At this point we are just waiting for the Affidavits- we are expecting 5 in total. And I am currently Organizing the documents that we have.

Also my GC expires August 30, and may 30th is Saturday. I Guess I will send them on June 1st to avoid date errors that could delay it. It should be OK right.

Thanks for your help.

Hey 👋

you are fine only with transcripts just be organized put first 2019,2018 etc..

this it’s the link for the exhibits you can put example: exhibit A: copy of conditional residence (front and back). Exhibit B: copy of transcrip tax return (2019, 2018, 2017..)

https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Avery-Style-Dividers-Exhibit-11376/dp/B00006IBWM/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=lgl+bottom+exhibits&qid=1589935885&sr=8-2

if you going use USPS yes you have the correct address 👍

the priority mail through USPS take 2 business days so yep june 1 or june 2 its fine, you don’t want they return your package  for file early just for safe side sent june 2 🙂

yeiii 5 affidavits 😀😀 don’t forget tell them put legal status, place of birth, date of birth and address, phone number if they can notarized its better if not it’s ok, some people attach copy of their ID if they aren’t notarized but it’s not required

just be organized a pretty cover letter whit exhibit at the bottom they easily can find everything you are sending put the most strong evidence first I mean first its the GC copy 😂 but them example copy birth certificate of child, copy of financial like tax returns, bank statements, cards etc.. othe exhibit.. bills other exhibits.. trips

I hope you understand what I mean 🙂

I used medium flat rate box because my package was heavy 5 lbs jajaja 😂

on the envelope or box nope just information sender and receiver

but on your package yes put original submission I-751 Joint petition to Remove Conditions on Residence for (your name)

A # .........

ai don’t know if are using fastener that the most appropriate way the uscis recommended

Good luck
