Good news!

I just got the email saying "Card/Document Production", LIN filer.

Very excited, I'm out of town next week but I already gave my husband instructions to check the mail multiple times daily!

Hi dady12.  We applied about 10 days after you and were also assigned to MSC and had our biometrics appointment in mid December. Perhaps it's worth calling and just confirming that your biometrics letter wasn't lost in the mail.  But it is also possible that your field office is just more backed up than ours due to COVID office closures and/or staff shortages and that's why your biometrics appt hasn't been scheduled yet.

Congrats to y'all who have gotten that New Card update! I hate you! Just kidding! :)

I have a LIN number and my case status is from July 15, 2020 and says fingerprints were applied....🤦‍♀️ Not quite as exciting.

Here's hoping things are moving along in Nebraska too, as I would LOVE to get that 10 year card and get to work on updating my driver's license which has a Not for Federal ID black box, and my darn SSC which is from a camp counselor stint decades ago and still has the condition of For Work Only which I haven't bothered updating yet. I can do these with my current conditional card and my extension letter, but the full GC seems soooo much easier and requires less explanation!

Praise be to God. I just seen that I got a mail from USCIS, so I went online to check and behold on the 2nd of February we ordered your new card and on the 3rd of February case was approved. Why ordered comes before case was approved beats me but something is coming in the mail and I am most grateful to God for He never fails and also to all you guys here. Y'all gives us strength.  Now unto the next one citizenship. Filling next month.  No time...
