Hello!

May filer here.

My husband had received his biometrics appointment letter recently.

There's an applicant information worksheet with it, which he must bring it with him to his appointment.

There's one question regarding race on the worksheet.

Race:

*Asian

*Black

*Caucasian/Latino

*Native American

*Unknown

My husband is a Moroccan yet Morocco is in Africa.

He is not a Caucasian or Latino.

So shall he put it as unknown??

I'm African "Black", you Husband is African "White" all Morrocans are considered as white unless if he is Haratin, but for your case choose White as Ethnic. And just go through the History of Morocco it is interesting to read. Also if his descendance is black African then choose black. So he will know better than us. Best wishes I hope you already found the answer for this.

That means your case is among few other that has been transferred for workload distribution, and also it might go faster than you expect. Some times they bounce back and forth between Offices... but hope for the best, you might hear a good news soon. Best wishes.

Hi guys!

I just received an email update saying there's been an update to my case. Online says a my new card is being produced. Does this mean they approved my petition? It seems quite fast since I filed in May.

Anyone has seen something similar?

Thank you!

I filed in May, got the receipt notice, and ever since receipt my case status shows as...

Quote

On June 1, 2020, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number xyz, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by July 1, 2020, contact the USCIS Contact

By looking at other posts here, I can see I am not the only one massively delayed.

What makes me nervous is the wording of this message. It says to "follow the instructions in the notice", but there were none that applied to me in my case, it should just be a waiting game. That's fine right, I'm not expected to do anything right?

I have updated my timeline. I filed in the Texas center btw. I received the card in hand on 12/19. I am glad this process is over. Next year Naturalization!!

Best of luck to everyone still waiting!!

ONLY For I-751 Filers whose case has been transferred to MSC:

If you wanted to add yourself to this spreadsheet, it would be helpful for people who are tracking their cases at MSC and wondering how much longer it may take....

Again, this is only for I-751 Filers whose case is at the MSC service center (which is one that does not show up when you check the current timeline on the  USCIS site... . It's a newer service center for I-751's, apparently mostly (or only) for those who had their first interview at an overseas consulate and entered on an immigrant visa, as opposed to those who had their interview in the US and changed status to CPR).

They transferred my case to NBC..

My case was under California and I just received an online update today to say it has been transferred to another field office. Waiting for the letter now to see which one, but based on your experience mine has probably gone to NBC too.

Probably.. I’ve been reading cases about case transferred and mostly all of them like us was transferred to NBC.. but some different reason like for “speed up processing”, “fast processing” and standard processing which is on my letter..
