Its always the Official original receipt, USCIS never sends copies of anything unless you request copies of previously submitted paperwork. For USCIS Notices its always official receipt with the seal.

I don't think that is entirely true as I have received a courtesy copy (I-797c) of the receipt , I did not  ask for it or make any requests for it but I do have a lawyer representing me who is supposed to get the original as that is how it was requested (this hasn't happened yet) I got the copy on Monday. I know a few others thorough FB groups who have received courtesy copies and not the originals

Yes - you are still legally able to work. E-verify will show you as a legal permanent resident, so whether you have a "valid" (non-expired) green card, you are still a permanent resident. The only thing you might have issues with is if your driver's license expires on the same day as your green card. You cannot get a new driver's license without a valid green card, I551 stamp, or the I-797C.

Thank you, Kitu. I remembered you, we had similar timeline when we were waiting for 2 years green card interview.

Got my extension! 18 months and back dated to 6/30 like most people I see here. Once fancy gov't paper. No indication this is a copy.

We submitted 5/9 and they rec'd 5/12. My timeline is giving me issues but I will try and update later. Best of luck to anyone waiting! Side note: my online inquiry was never answered / assigned, my email to lockbox was never answered and when I called they did tell me they would be remailed the first time bc there was a glitch affecting many people and the second time she said she wouldn't even talk to me until 30 days from my online inquiry. Keep the faith! LOL

According to informed delivery, NOA / Extension Letter is coming in the mail today with printed date of 07/01.

I guess somebody finally realized there was an issue and fixed it during the week of June 29th.

Hoping everyone receives their NOA soon!

I just received my NOA as well, dated 07/01.. Took 9 days to get here, but at least it is here. Interestingly, my green card is extended by 18 months instead of 12 months it used to be I believe?

Good you received yours. I don’t know why I haven’t seen mine yet. When I called on Monday, I was told they printed it on 07/01 but yet to send it out. Hopefully they sent it out already.
