Spoke too soon, got our case received text message just now at 7:45pm today on June 2nd.  Case package was delivered to Lewisville, TX lockbox Thursday morning last week at 10am on May 28.

Now the apparently long wait for, hopefully, our I-797 receipt notice.  It said in the text message that the 797 would come next, quote:

USCIS:  Your case was received. Receipt # SRC <case #>. Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

Our I-751 was received by USCIS on 13 May 2020 (as per USPS tracking). From there it has been nothing but radio silence. As of 03 June there have been no SMS or emails. Nothing in the mailbox. Given the current world circumstances I expected a delay, but should my wife and I be worried that USCIS hasn't acknowledged receipt of our packet more than two weeks later? Have any others experienced similar delays when filing this year?  It's also possible that USPS is behind the delay. Even living in a large city, we have only received one piece of mail in the last nine days.

Hard to say. We sent a money order and my wife sent the receipt as well. I'm trying to find a way to track it just to gather any logistics that are available. Thanks for the response.

Calling is not a bad option although I will likely have to set aside an afternoon just for that 🙂

We have not and we are starting to get a bit concerned. We only know that USCIS received the packet on 13 May because of USPS tracking. Since then, we haven't heard a peep. My wife's Conditional Green card expires soon. I don't know what we'll do if she doesn't have  receipt or extension letter by then.

Call the 800 number on the money order you sent, I am hoping you have a copy of the money order, you can track by calling the 800 number and it will tell you if your money order has been cashed or not, thats what I did for mine

My USPS Informed Delivery app shows a letter / package originating in Las Vegas scheduled for delivery at our address tomorrow. Could this be from USCIS? Our I-751 was filed at the AZ Lockbox, but I vaguely remember receiving other correspondence from Las Vegas in the past? If you don't mind sharing, where was your I-751 receipt / extension letter mailed from?

Hopefully it is a NOA , not sure if it would be coming from Las Vegas but you never know with USCIS , I would expect it to come from the Phoenix lock box or the center that is processing your case. Mine was filed at the AZ lock box as well on and was received May 15th, haven't got a NOA yet, I did call them and get my receipt number its starting with LIN (Nebraska Center). Keep us posted. I have to wait till june 14th to start making inquiries or sending emails to them , hopefully the letter just arrives before that.
