@Letspaintcookies How many days did it take to get the interview letter after the email that you were scheduled for one? Thank you.

Email was Monday and letter arrived Saturday

My wife just received an email that her interview is scheduled. She filed for AOS on 2/18/20. I'm assuming this will be in New Orleans as we live in Baton Rouge. Waiting for the actual notice now.

Hi, when did you get a notification that your appointment was ready to be scheduled? To compare for when it was scheduled?

I'm back from my interview. The immigration officer was super nice and tried her best to put me at ease about everything. We went through the basics of the application, added my new job to it and she asked a couple of the 'are you dangerous to the US' questions. She asked a couple questions about how we met and where we got married here and there during the interview. Then she asked if I brought anything new that I want to add to the file and I just handed her a folder with copies from bank accounts, bills etc for her to keep. She didn't really looked at it just told me she will add it to my file and that's it. The servers were down so she couldn't make the changes directly in the computer but said she aims for approving it today. Fingers crossed 😁 I'll definitely sleep good tonight.

The interview took about 15-20 minutes and everyone was super nice there. I've seen 6 couples there this morning and talked to a lawyer who was waiting for his next clients. He said before covid waiting times for your appointment were crazy on some days ( like scheduled for 9 but have to wait till 12) but right now everything works nice and smooth.

Congratulations 🎉🎉 hope you had a good experience like I had.

My card is still in transit. It was supposed to arrive Saturday but I guess because of the weather that didn't happened. Now it's just showing delayed and in transit 🤦‍♀️

Thank you @Letspaintcookies. I thought it went ok. Aside from the I-485 yes/no questions, she asked us to elaborate on a couple of things from our “story”. She was mentoring a young officer so we had that person too. We had 2-hole punched our additional evidence and she thanked us for that. Turns out she’s a spokesperson for USCIS, I found that out later after googling her name.

I’m a little concerned that the I-130 still says ‘must be reviewed’ while the I-485 shows ‘card is being produced’.

Hope you receive your card soon.

Nah I had the card is being produced update the same day and approved 3 days later just before it jumped to card is sent. So both will probably update to approved together any day now.

My card is still somewhere out there. Filed a missing mail request today.
