We filed for my wife’s adjustment of status on February 15th, 2020.  She had her biometrics at the New Orleans field office. Here’s the timeline:

Received (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131): 2/25/20

Biometrics: 3/16/20

Case ready to be scheduled for interview: 4/14/20

She is currently on an H1B visa and is filing for AOS as spouse of a green card holder. I realize this is a K1/K3 AOS sub forum, so if this post is not appropriate here, please ignore.

Good afternoon,

Does anybody know the difference between "Field Office" and "Application Support Center"

I just read that the "Application Support Center" will open for the public on:

Louisiana
New Orleans Will reopen to the public on 07/20/2020.

Hope we start getting rescheduling notices soon.

The ASC does biometrics while the field office conducts interviews and works on cases.

My wife's I-765 status changed today to 'case was approved'.

Her timeline:

AOS Filed: 2/15/20

Received (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131): 2/18/20

Biometrics (at the New Orleans field office): 3/16/20

Case ready to be scheduled for interview: 4/13/20

I-765: New card is being produced, 7/21/20

I-765: Case was approved, 7/24/20

Some of you have been waiting a while now. Hopefully you'll hear about your interviews soon.
