How long does it take NVC process applications ? I have read 2 3 weeks  ?

Then your eyesight is normal. :jest: We have seen anywhere from 1-3 weeks. It will take 30 days to NVC from USCIS.

Read the PDF from the first post of this thread on the first page. It will answer that question and anymore that will come up.

The PDF is awesome. If there isn’t a Spanish version of it, I’ll work on translating it into Spanish send it to you, if you would like. It might take me some time as I’m still dealing with work and other things.

I think a Spanish version would have its advantages for some who speak and understand Spanish. They only concern I have is when I update the English version, I am unable to update the Spanish version. I suppose I can use a translation program but not sure if they are accurate or not.

Yes the petitioner and the joint sponsor will complete the following.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form I-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form I-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g. letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, the value of properties, etc.). You may download the I-134 affidavit at https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here:

https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p

Also, the new requirement from the embassies is to complete the DS-5540. https://eforms.state.gov/Forms/ds5540.PDF

Is the ds-5540 form to be completed by the petitioner our beneficiary? Not sure why it would ask the petitioner if they’ve been to the US before so that’s why I’m asking.

Beneficiary will complete the DS-5540 Public Charge Questionnaire. Some of the questions will seem weird but just the same put down your best answer. This is not a pass or fail document.

Do you have the p3 for Tanzania?

The way you have this worded is that you're asking yourself the question.

1)  Here's some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG posts that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1krDA5e93LXA3JbzBl8Zo-pvBjpNlLJam/view?usp=sharing

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name and select their name. If it is done right, you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MDRnqzVsqYuInL1iSIyuxaMOj52yDAxb/view?usp=sharing

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote. (using your example, you were making a comment and a thank you so the way you presented yourself is fine.

2)  There isn't much out there for Tanzania but here is the Embassy reviews http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Tanzania

Here are others who are applying from Tanzania http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op7=Tanzania&dfile=No&op1=&op2=&op3=&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28&cfl=0

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

3)  We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Did NVC speed up the process ? How long does it take these days ?

Nope. Same as usual. Thirty days from USCIS and then another 1-2 weeks for case number. NVC is NOT shipping cases to the embassies and therefor no interviewing will take place until your record is received at the embassy and set to "ready" condition on CEAC.

Your reply to me was a splendid example of when to use the "@" so you don't send a great BIG and LONG reply from someone. I just keeps everything neater.

Next you need to complete your profile.
