Happy New Year to everyone. I'm excited to share that our K1 case was also approved!

Case sent: May 1st,

Case received: May 4th,

NOA1: May 7th,

NOA2: December 31st.

FYI It seems like it takes some time to sync the data on the web site. I literally checked the case status an hour ago and it was still "Received" and now it says that it was approved at December 31st.

They started to work on May filers so a little more time and y'all will be approved. It's my wish 🙏

Yes you use the receipt number that starts with three letters

So when you got the NOA1 back in May, there was a tracking number that starts with 3 letters that they gave you on your letter. Mine is in CA so it starts with WAC.

Use that number on the USCIS website to check on your status.

how did you find this?

@Olga88 uses a phone app to search across a series of WAC# for any given month. She extrapolates the data from the results and then puts the data sets into a spreadsheet to develop what you see. It is very time consuming and many of you as I am are indebted to her for her arduous work.

Please don't repeat the graphic just use the "@" to find her name to use to directly message her with your reply. You can also "quote" her entry with the graphic, select the graph and when it turns blue hit your "delete" key and it will disappear leaving you a clean slate to ask or reply to the post. Since this is a large graph and by not quoting it again only helps keep the thread a little neater.

Here are the phone apps if you are curious.

Note: the USCIS Case Tracker app lets you set a range of WAC# before and after yours to see the status of those cases. Very slick tool to ascertain where you are in the processing timeline of USCIS compared to others.
