DS 5540 Confusion

What should you do if your marriage based GC gets rejected over DS 5540 public charge questionnaire? Will there be a possibility for the case to be rejected even with a joint sponsor?

It's possible but I really don't expect to see visas denied on public charge grounds when there is a well qualified petitioner sponsor or joint sponsor with a plausible reason to act as sponsor. There is very little actual data on the DS 5540 and how it has been used by Consular Officers in making decisions, as the visa units shut down only shortly after the form began being used.

Oh hello Pushbrk, Thank you for your reply! I would also like to know if the DS 5540 needs supporting documents or should you just present it as it is by just filling out the form?
