I actually read that long article. Very balanced analysis.  Which begs the question,  how did it get in the NYT?

I have said from day one this whole thing is designed by operatives in the DNC to take out Biden. He is impaired and they know it.  Its not gonna be Hillary.

shurely shome mishtake, wonder if that phrase is understood, but sums it up. Fascinating to speculate how it got in, I would be hard pushed to think it was accidental.

I will have to listen to them on my way to work in the morning. But that is what Rising said as well is that Hayes tends to be more of a straight shooter than everyone else. I am not happy with the NYT right now because they initially wrote a article about this then they rewrote the article after pressure from the Biden campaign, which this very same article that got rewrote has been used by different people like Klobacher and Abrams that "they did not find any truth to it".

I wonder if Jill will be doing all the talking?

I ended up listening to it while at the desk on my SiriusXm app on my phone. Since I can't use YT right now due to everyone hogging the bandwidth doing VPN, they shut down YT. But it was weird to me how he is fine with the National Archives being opened but not his personal archives in Delaware in regards to this allegation

Did you get one?  I didn't.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

There needs to be more proof, a lot more, and if proven true, she needs to be shamed for waiting until now to do this as there could've been more victims.

That's ridiculous, she should never be shamed for being the victim in any way. I don't know about you but if I had to wait 20 years stewing on something to hurt someone more powerful than myself in a way to exact justice I totally would.

There's thousands of reasons why women can't come forward and if they see an immediate opening or weakness to make their response vital, painful and actionable, then so be it.

To suggest she needs to be shamed for what happened and how she chose to respond, seriously, #######.

How someone responds directly relates to the credibility of their claims especially if it's coupled with flimsy hearsay. Someone who is in danger tends to behave in certain ways, someone who was violated tends to behave in certain ways, in absence of things factual, all that remains is inference and if recent history is any guide accusations like this aren't trustworthy when not coupled with proof. There's no reason to believe this is anything but an attention seeking political hit job until proven otherwise. That's the standard set.

You typed what I quoted "if proven true..."

So whatever your personal opinion about the accusations is a whole completely different discussion, how anyone chooses to respond as a sexual assault victim is never to be shamed for.

I am a DT instructor and have worked with hundreds of male and female survivors of sexual assault and they all handle their responses differently, ranging from telling anyone who will listen to not telling anyone for nearly 40 years until revealed to me in training if for nothing other than to try to heal. They all compartmentalize information about the event differently as well. Some can remember exact details, some can only remember a scent, a certain pitch of a person's breathing, a laugh, etc and this is from people who were completely conscious during the entire assault. Some would have a minor incident trigger everything as if it happened the day before even a decade later. In one case a student had a complete mental breakdown and lost over 2 years of his, yes his,  memory after he told his father another gay student raped him.

One student even had video of multiple assaults in his group home and still didn't say anything for 6 years until he was finally out of the group home because his fear was he would be put somewhere worse. He didn't come forward with the videos until he saw his attacker was getting married years after he left the home.

They all had various and completely legitimate reasons for not saying anything, waiting to say anything and how they chose to finally (if ever) respond. The public often uses high profile events as these to paint the often delayed response as "inadmissible" or that they're lying in an attempt to demoralize their victims again.

I don't care one way or another for whatever "facts" are being argued. No one should ever be shamed for their trauma, ever.

People should be shamed for weaponizing sexual assault. It's not a weapon. It's a crime. And by not doing something about it right away, if it really happened, one allows other victims to fall prey to that predator.

The attempts to weaponize this, especially in recent times with extremely fraudulent claims, winds up being entirely counterproductive, it makes people less believable. So if that's the intent, it's going well.
