I can see the problem, how does a legal system which requires as a norm beyond reasonable doubt respond to a situation where it seems very rare for that to be the case. So the Law can not reasonable respond and you end up with a media farce.

Indeed. In the early colonial days they had mob justice, it was later used as the basis for protecting the accused, ensuring better standards of proof were needed. Naturally, it allowed for people who were criminals to get a pass due to lack of evidence, but it's been the best criminal justice system (and methodology) seen, as we find a justice system let by a mob is far, far worse. The "progressives" trying to bring back a modern version of mob justice have no intent on trying to instill a reasonable form of justice (as seen by how consistently they refuse to adhere to the standards they try and set), they're simply using it as a mechanism of taking their anger out on people they disagree with for not giving them their way.

 

Society was at a point where it was more inclined to believe women just out of support, not necessarily willing to change the legal system as a whole. This movement and its aforementioned weaponization utterly wrecked that progress. With so many hoaxes and timed accusations hellbent on destroying people, there's zero reason to believe women now. It's a perfect illustration of why the founders didn't want that mob trash in the first place and why it's held up so long even as the legal system has made changes. It also illustrates why we call the motives into question of people that so comprehensively are aiming at tearing apart the foundations of what made the nation what it is, and so great.

I am still very conflicted about this. I am not a single issue voter, and never have been, but there is simply no universe in which I could vote for Trump or for a third party during this election. I do not believe Trump is the leader this country needs, and his removal is more important to me than a specific candidate, provided that the party itself (1) is large enough that its candidate could defeat Trump and (2) has policies that generally align with my political concerns. Quite simply, that means that I must vote for a Democrat. Ideally, in my view, the DNC would select another candidate, not necessarily Bernie. 

 

There needs to be a proper investigation -- Reade needs to be properly interviewed by law enforcement, and not by journalists alone. There are so many inconsistencies in her story but it doesn't mean it isn't true. And if true, Biden should not be the candidate who will get the nomination.

Why?  What has he done for America in 3 years that is so bad in your mind?  What policies has he instituted/changed that are detrimental for us as a country?
