Hi everyone, so i know we are all going through things at the moment.

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing delays in there cases,

AOS, EAD and AP were all submitted in Nov 2019, updates are as follows:

AOS (Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview on Jan 27th)

EAD (Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken on March 5th)

AP (Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken on Dec 17th)

The prediction on AP and EAD was end of March but since Covid is pushing further back and today is looking like latest June :( I realise AOS is how longs a piece of string lol

Its a shame to see the case numbers 1 before us are all approved and done so guess the buck stopped at our case numbers :( at the Kansas City MO/National benefits centre at least not sure on the others

Hows everyone else doing

Hi, I just signed up to reply to you because I am in exactly the same boat with regards to constantly checking EAD. I also submitted in Nov 2019 and the lack of EAD is very stressful for me and my spouse.

AOS: scheduled for an interview March 15

EAD: updated for fingerprints Dec 17

AP: updated for fingerprints March 5

I checked this several times and I can confirm my EAD and AP are precisely the inverse of yours, and this had no impact on anything else in the process -- we are in the same boat. I think this just goes to show that USCIS works at their own pace and we won't know how progress is being made until it comes.

Hi,

I am in the same situation as you guys, except I filed for AOS on December 23rd (2019). I did by biometrics on January 31st. My case has been “Ready to schedule for interview” since February 27th now, and nothing has changed since. I check my status a thousand times a day... At this point I am just hoping for my AP asap because I want to be able to go see my family as soon as there are flights and borders reopen in Europe (I am from France). Not being able to go see my family is what is killing me and the reason I am not doing good...

I wish you all a fast process !

Hi There, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy,

By some reason the timelines in our similar cases is different, this probably because they dont follow the same pattern, etc.

AOS, EAD and AP submitted January 2020, updates:

AOS Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview on April 22nd

EAD Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken on March 12th

AP Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken on March 12th

There's many forums that are mentioning that some Family based GC interviews are being waived randomly in order to cope with the backlog, hopefully this will also apply to us.

In our case the main concern is the EAD, if I dont get it soon I'll be without a job (L1 Visa holder about to expire) thinking about asking for a congressional inquiry, any of you have consider using that as a resource?

Not personally and not for this type of AOS, but from what I heard you should definitely write to the representatives in your state asking for help!

A friend of mine wrote to the Colorado Senators' offices after RFEs and delays in her H-1B extension process, and one Senator promptly responded and made it go through!
