Who is David Williams, MD? Is he really a doctor? Is he really named David Williams? Does he have any relevant background in medicine generally, or specifically in epidemiology, public health, virology, etc.? 

 

That website... GoDaddy? Have some respect and at least do a Wordpress. I mean, this is what I can add, I mean, Layla Lex, MD can add to the discussion:

More seriously, why is the ONLY link in that "article" to a YouTube video that has been removed? Why should we trust something by someone who vaguely places himself in "West Alabama" and says he is joined by other physicians, without pointing to ANY of their medical bona fides? We should take his pronouncements on faith, but dismiss everything else. He even says he isn't an epidemiologist, but he had one (who?) review the contents and that person was cool with it.

 

To believe this guy is to involve a massive leap of faith. If you are going to make these kind of statements, BRING RECEIPTS. Convince me.

Y'all don't want layperson opinions, and when doctor's views are posted, they are shot down.  Not because they do not make sense, but because you don't want to hear it.  Can't make this stuff up.

 

Are THESE guys doctor enough for you?  I'll save y'all  the time and tell you to jump to the 35:00 point for the summary.  But you'll have to watch prior to that to get the REAL dangers from the disease.

  Many doctors want to open up again. They are losing money just like everyone else. These guys own the clinic. Of course they want to do that, but they are making a decision based on economics, not based on medicine. 

 

  As to what they are saying, some facts mixed in with some complete BS, but it's basically an agenda driven argument. They want to make money, and I don't blame them, but they have slanted their argument towards that end and they left a lot of holes because of it.

  They are just saying the same thing as every other article like this has said. We see four or five of these posted on the site every night. It just happens to be doctors this time. Doctors who are also businessmen.  Unfortunately in order to make a convincing argument, they have included some of the same misinformation that many of the other agenda driven articles have done, and tried to back it with their medical degree.

It's an interesting read, and clearly opinion, some quite agreeable, but a few things come to mind:

 

- Anything that tries to lead me with words like "the truth" is going to automatically invoke skepticism, not just from me, but from most people.

- I bet you anything Godaddy is pondering how to kick this site offline. They have some pretty draconian policies overall, hosting being among the worst.
