Off topic but just wanted to say I’m SO happy you made it! I remember your previous posts and it was so sad to see how you had to fight with the airline. I hope the rest of the trip goes well! :)

I thought the SAME thing! And didn't say it (sorry!)! So now I'll say it. Happy you're nearly there!

Hi everyone! Update for my flight Belgrade to New York:

just to give you a first idea on how smooth and fast it all went my plane touched down at 16:45 and I was waiting for my baggage at 17:06!

So during the flight they gave us a form we all had to fill that we had to complete our name flight address etc info and state if we had any COVID symptoms the past few days and if we have been in any of the banned countries the past 14 days. It also said we would have to quarantine for 14 days after landing so that didn’t seem fun.

After we landed I went to the passport control which was almost empty. I gave the form my passport and the K1 package as well as a copy of my vaccination record to the guy but he didn’t want the xrays cd.
he opened the package and then asked me to confirm my address. He flipped through the package and found a picture of me and my fiancé and pointed at him and said is this (name and surname of fiancé) I said yes he said nice and commented on the lake in the picture haha. Then he asked how much money in cash I have on me. Then he stamped my passport and said we’re almost done I just have to go to the office for the final check.
meh took me to the office and handed my papers and passport to the lady there. He told her “I already stamped her through so take her temperature and we’re good” which sounded to me like I was already done. Once he left the lady called me up she looked at me and my passport and then said “you have 90 days to get married” is said yeah we’re excited! And she said okay good luck bye and gave me my passport without taking my temperature or anything.
someone else with a visa From the same flight I was in was there next to me and he asked if he needs to have anything in mind in terms of quarantine or anything because of the form we had to complete and the guy laughed and told him “no man you’re all good we’re in phase two now!”

overall everything was very fast and almost no questions!
good luck everyone! If anyone is considering Belgrade I highly recommend the route and don’t hesitate to contact me as I have like a full guide by now to share!

Thanks for the update! Really happy for you both and I'm glad it went smoothly. You've also lessened my anxiety!

For the address you filled out in the form on the flight, did you put your home address (the one you applied the visa with) or the address of where you stayed in Belgrade?

For those that went to Mexico - just booked my fiance's flight to Mexico and onward to America. Did anyone have to fill out a traveler form prior to entering Mexico? On the UK website it says: "

If you’re visiting Mexico as a tourist you don’t need a visa, but you’ll need to complete an immigration form and have this with you when you enter and leave Mexico.

You can get an immigration form either when you arrive (forms are available at border crossings or on-board flights to Mexico) or online in advance from the National Institute of Immigration website. Due to the requirements of the online system, the advance option is only possible if your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of entry to Mexico.

You need an immigration form to leave the country. If you lose your immigration form you can get it replaced at the immigration office at any international airport in Mexico. The cost of a replacement is $500 Mexican Pesos, which is payable at a bank"

It was asking for the US address I will be staying at so I added my home address in Chicago. I mentioned to them that I will go there the next day and not directly after I landed in New York and they said that’s fine we just need the address where you will be staying in the US.

Cool, thanks. My fiancé moved places in April, so my final destination is actually different from the one we applied from. Hope that won't cause any confusion. I guess I'll just be honest and explain the situation.

Just an update. I finally made it back home after being stuck for 3+months in Spain. The 15 days in Mexico were ok, I spent my time mostly working and avoiding going anywhere by purchasing groceries online using Corner Shop app. My case is a bit different than most people in this thread as I have an L1-B visa but still had no issues coming thru LAX. Wish you all best of luck!

It's a very simple form that asks basic info:

Visitor-Permit-FMM-Mexico-1200x900.jpg

"Keep Your Visitors Permit (FMM) Safe" https://www.mexperience.com/your-mexican-tourist-permit-fmm/

Thanks! But just wanted to see if people generally filled this out before or just did it on the plane.

We changed houses earlier this month so had exactly the same situation and had no issue at all!

We arrived in Belgrade two days ago so far pretty much everything is open (except of one museum so far). Restaurants are operating normally and the weather is super nice. We spend a lot of time in the park yesterday, eating icecream and enjoying the city. The city itself is a weird mix of really ugly and charming at the same time, so it won't get boring! Also the people are super nice. And food is cheap.

Also: Anyone in Belgrade right now? My finacé and I would love to meet up! Just shoot me a private message.

My fiancé is there until Saturday. He sent my pics of the city and it was awesome but really run down at the same time

Hello All,

I am not sure if this question was asked yet. My boyfriend lives in Paris and I am in DC. We were planning on going to Mexico or Aruba for 14 days in two weeks prior to coming back to DC. I know some have said this works with the K-1 visa, but he has a ESTA visa. Could this still work or has anyone tried? Please share, I would really appreciate it.

@SBML entered with ESTA after 2 week stay in MX:

@jenny53 will attempt entry with ESTA on July 10th:

ESTA visa.

Reminder that the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) isn't a visa. It screens Visa Waiver Program applicants. He'll need proof of onward international travel booked for before the 90 days end to be able to present at US POE if asked to furnish it.
