I hate the white house administration so much. They're really going to find an enemy to use as a scapegoat for the rise in numbers. "Is it because we opened way too soon? Maybe all of the protests? Nah no way has to be Mexico"

Like ffs

Yeah I’m sure the US’s 25k+ cases a day is from Mexico’s 3500 cases a day....ugh

So I thought long before posting this, I am in Mexico right now, as you may know from reading about my experiences on here. I wanted to say, I don’t like the negative vibes on here, it is scary enough right now to be in Mexico during a global pandemic. Of course, it is a scary experience, but we are already here!!! Should we put our head in the sand and cry? Like please refrain from sharing thoughts such as “Mexico will be the new hotspot for the virus” if you do not have a source or can somewhat tell us why you’re feeling that way. I don’t feel like I’m on a vacation here, I’m scared as well. But I do not want to entertain this kind of negativity anymore. It’s scary enough as it is. If you have sources, share it! But please refrain from making us go nuts over here, when the situation is scary enough as it is!!!

It was in a German newspaper today. I wouldn't say something like that if it wasn't true. Also, I didn't want to spread any negativity. I am sorry. I didn't want to offend anybody.

Agreed, it is oddly specific - i'll try and find the source but it was in one of the news articles I read. It was essentially saying that the EO will likely be out tomorrow or early this week and that it was rumored (key word...rumor) to take effect by the 24th. Obviously more speculation on my apart, but everything points to the administration trying to get it done this month.

How do you even know about those dates? Seems oddly specific

I’m planning to leave at the beginning of July, probably around when you are leaving to New York. Too bad, would have been nice to meet up.

For sure! That would have been great!!!

I’ll let you know if I decide to go to Serbia instead of Cancun. I would fly on June 27th so we would be there around the same time.

So I just canceled my flight to Mexico and booked a flight to Serbia for next Tuesday. I read today that Mexico will be the new Coronavirus hotspot, and I have 19 days ahead of me until I will fly to the US. I don't want to risk it.

Hi! I’ve been in Belgrade since the 11th and will be flying to New York the 27th. Let me know if you need anything!
I have a friend that lives here and he have me info tips etc. Belgrade is safe.
I came in from Athens to Frankfurt and then Serbia. I had no questions asked in any of the airports and I went through like any other time I’ve traveled. They also stamp your passport when you enter Serbia so you definitely have proof you’ve been in the country before flying to the US.

You should contact air Serbia and ask them about their flights to US in July though. When I asked them about a week ago they told me only flights in June are 100% confirmed and suggested not to book something after June until they have updated this list here: https://www.airserbia.com/en/information/flights/relaunched-services-and-regular-flight-schedule/belgrade?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=983211ec8d5809ab722defd28796b126e1bafafd-1592169162-0-AUWLeBNZWs1W6y03cWW6wmFBkapQZD-_JJZbmnEG1ZI7F3yFY5DiQXpdFv4a93S5Cee5_yQW9EUqkZ6JrKb8DYL8oa7ojAM7eF5Uvfl_AIpWQfyRgwxUubnFBqacVxVVlSexLEp_t4JsDoF6EGx46Y2tIocT3_A6j0yxKJdIOvuMV9xLdZ-1hUL7L-hptWR1YANERSC9EkfdckRzJkgQrcYRYpehbEoFowNgmFiSY0ebo2T8rg0vD63n6BRtrZTvKDPuCH4AV_ZOyOW-X7tIkWXIAORPHOqx6tAiwkVNjiszkCkE0iCofuHZvyhWv_G5yOGsSGTZCiqVkSJon65KNr97XybRMUK1YLcl3zFpbaAgPXlJNa_dt7kpuDYusEkxgQ

What kind of police registration? The website of the German external office says that traveling to and through Serbia is possible without any restrictions...

Maybe @Sarah84 was referring to this police registration, but this is only for Croatia (unless I am mistaken.)
