Nationals of listed countries or passengers who have transited from or been in the following countries in the past 14 days are not permitted to enter Turkey: Algeria, Angola, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, Chad, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Mainland China, Mauritania, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Niger, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan. Turkish citizens/residents who were in these countries in the past 14 days are allowed to enter Turkey but are subject to a 14-day quarantine requirement.

This means that we would be even able to enter Turkey with 14 days quarantine

That is awesome!! Thank you!!! Where did you find that? Can you post the link, please? When is your flight?

Be careful about that. All their flights are suspended, just on Wednesday they extended that until June 10, they may extend that again like many others do. Plus you don’t know if they will allow any foreigners even for transit, many countries don’t. Just because you can get the tickets online doesn’t mean you can also fly and if the flight is cancelled you’ll be stuck without a ticket, without a way to fly and without your money.

There are no plans right now for Turkish Airlines to resume flights to the US. Turkey does plan to resume international flights on June 10 (that date could obviously be pushed out yet again), but as of right now, the US is not one of the countries that TA will fly to, to start.

"Starting in June, Turkish Airlines looks to fly to 19 countries: Canada, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Belarus, Israel, Kuwait, Georgia and Lebanon."

No? It literally says in the first sentence that you cannot enter. Only Turkish people are allowed to enter

I think she meant that she wanted to quarantine in Croatia for 2 weeks, then go to Turkey.

The flight from Amsterdam arrives at about 8:00 pm. It may take some time to leave the airport and be later in the night. For those who have arrived in Mexico would you suggest spending the first night at a hotel close the airport like the Hilton and then the next day going to a lodging? Or would it be okay to take a taxi straight to the accommodations in the city? I am a little worried about riding in an Uber at night there.

I'd take an Uber over a taxi unless you want a tour of the city.   Plus you don't have to worry about your spanish skills. Head into your main accomodation after clearing immigration.

Hello!

I tried to make a reservation a hotel near the airport (City Express Ciudad de Mexico Aeropuerto) and when double checking with them over the phone, I was told that they could not take it given the current measures which limit reservations to "essential" ones. "Si no se presenta una carta especificando la actividad esencial, no podemos continuar su solicitud" is what they told me, meaning that we may be able to book online but once we arrive there, they will not be able to check one in.

Is anyone already in Mexico, or who has already booked their reservation at a hotel faced the same issue? Were you able to book a hotel without any issue as such?

how do i contact Amsterdam and Mexico to check they’ll allow my travel from the U.K.? i’m struggling to find numbers

Call the airline or use the https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/ website to verify the visa and travel restrictions.  Same database the airlines use.

I checked, there are also flights going via Frankfurt and I checked with the airline. As long as you do not leave the airport you wont have an issue to enter the US

Transiting in Schengen Area makes people not exempt from the Proclamation subject to it: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/03/16/2020-05578/suspension-of-entry-as-immigrants-and-nonimmigrants-of-certain-additional-persons-who-pose-a-risk-of "who were physically present within the Schengen Area during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States"

With ESTA is does not matter where you enter (or how . . . land, sea or air).  What matters is your nationality.
