Hi everyone. I filed for k1 visa for my foreign finace and received the I129f approval on March 5th.the approval will expire by July 4th.will it be extended automatically given the circumstances or will I need to submit some documents for extension? Should I receive any notice from the NVC because it has been over 30 days and no updates.

No I have not because I thought everything is delayed due to the covid 19 so it's normal

I believe NVC is still working. I think NVC sends a letter to the beneficiary. I wouldn't wait on this though. It could months after things are ready for the letter to arrive.

The validity of the NOA2 is for four months. They want you to complete your visa processing at the consulate during that window. The reason is that they have thousands of approved applicants and they need to keep things moving along or they will back up if everyone decides they want to process in a particular month then the other months there are relatively few interviews. So, to keep things moving along they put a date on the NOA2. If for some reason, illness, death in the family or some other valid reason, your consulate can extend the visa at their discretion. NVC has nothing to do with the extension nor does USCIS once the NOA2 has been issued. We will know more on how they will handle the extensions once the Embassies open back up.
