MEDICAL EXAMINATION can be done as soon as your wife received packet 4 ,

since your wife has received her packet 4 she can get it dont now she can also get it done 15 days prior to her interview as per her convience

it takes one day to one week to get the reports depending on the individual situation and the vaccines and reports needed

the report will be handed over to your wife

which she will submit later on to the embassy in her interview day ,

the report wont be submitted directly to the embassy .

You can schedule the medical at anytime, but will need the interview letter at the time of the appointment.

My wife is from Gujarat, and the medicals could only be done in Mumbai. So rather than doing two journeys to Mumbai, she went to Mumbai 4 days ahead of the interview, and got the medical done two days prior to the actual interview. She took her medical report with her to the interview.

Good luck.

Packet 4 check list does say that medical should be sumbitted at VFS, but it's ok if we don't. My husband submitted the documents at VFS today without the medical. They were fine with that. He is getting his medical done 3 days before the interview

Well regarding the medical:

1) U can get ur medical done any time after u received the packet 4.

2) In Mumbai Breach Candy Hospital, they do the medical in the morning and gave the report in the eveing by 4 pm.

3) The medical reports are to us and is not necessary to submit them to vfs office. If you already have the reports, you can take it to vfs just for safety.

4) Yes there are some hospital/s in Gujarat where the medicals can be done. U need to check the address and telephone number/s from the consulate.
