Apologies. I guess i misread your "EO does not claim to exempt immediate relatives" as it does. 

 

Even though parents are "technically" immediate relatives its not of much use from EO standpoint where they are affected by the ban.

What you need to look at is the additional impact on top of the other procedures in place, it seems both minusculee and therefore pointless.

Gotcha. Yeah, the point was it does not say it excludes immediate relatives. It does exclude them via IR-5, but nowhere does it say IRs are exempt either.

 

IRs have certain benefits guaranteed via the INA and various policy. That piece is unchanged.

Even they include spouses of lpr(F2a),it is very unacceptable

Glad you asked.  Here are my views.  When I can hop in my car and drive over to the next state to see my parents then I feel it will be OK for your parents to hop in a Germ Tube and fly over here to see you.
 

You aren’t going to get much sympathy or support from people who are limited to essential activities who ALSO dont get to see their parents.  Even less sympathy from people who are in that position because some random travellers flew bugs in from Asia and then flew bugs in from Europe that were flown in from Asia.  
 

As far as we’re concerned if this executive order had been issued in December we’d probably all be better off.

When we can see our parents you will see yours and you are not entitled to special treatment nor even the right to complain about it until we can.  Reworded:  Suffer with the rest of us.
