Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

How long ago did you send your I-130? Please note that it is taking unusally long time now to receive any notice. If you had sent it via USPS registered mail or with a delivery confirmation request, you can check, whether USCIS has received it or not.

I am a USC and my husband is from Nigeria. We have just sent our I-130 to NE CIS:

We have not received any receipt yet.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Some recent posts would suggest that it may currently take 30 days or even more to get NOA1.

If you are filing for a K3.. check out the K3 forum and the thread for May and June filers. You'll see we're all waiting quite a bit. I sent my I-130 on May 25.. still no word. Don't panic just yet.
