She's drunk on power, and brainwashed by the idea that "if we only do more, no one else will die."

She also ordered a $17-million field hospital to be opened.  Of course, it has never had even one patient.

A large protest was held today, and a lawsuit filed.

Thankfully, my own County Judge had more sense than the clueless chica above.

Do judges have the final say on this? I'm ashamed to admit I don't know how our government works sometimes.

They have a temporary final say, and they can also have their hindquarters sued off.

Gov. Abbott will almost certainly overrule this insanity when he reveals his continuing plan on Monday.

Well, Little Napoleonette is thwarted -- Gov. Abbott stated that no jurisdiction can fine or ticket anyone who's not wearing a mask.

 

L.N. has deftly pivoted to "test, trace, and treat" -- test every human being, animal, and thing to see who's been infected; trace their contacts back to the time when they were zygotes, and either quarantine or imprison them; and treat everyone, probably in the $17 million stadium-parking-lot mobile hospital that had exactly zero patients.  Meanwhile, businesses in her county can open on the Governor's schedule whether she wants them to or not (she doesn't).  Nyah nyah-nyah boo boo!
