I disagree! I don’t even see how it’s possible to not issue a tourist visa or allow tourists in anymore. I also don’t see how this will last till 2025 and people will have to start over again. Suspend routine visa services indefinitely? Meaning those working at the embassy will loose their jobs( aren’t they trying to save jobs) LOL Make it make sense!

This clearly isn't about jobs and extending the EO indefinitely (which was originally issued to save American jobs) under the guise of safety is more proof that it wasn't about jobs in the first place.

Okay i have a question my mom was scheduled to have an interview on the 24th March but embassy was closed due to the virus so is she affected by trumps ban and if she is, is the interview cancelled or have to wait till the end of the 60 days

We don't know for sure - but if the EO  is still in place when the consulates open, expect that her IR5 to be held.

Yes, she would be impacted by the EO as the visa was not issued before the EO went into effect.

There was an argument before a federal judge in a lawsuit to get an injunction, but I would not expect any movement on that this month...or likely at least until the consulates resume processing/interviewing. As-is, she is not harmed by the EO since she can't interview for it anyway.

Does anyone know is F2A I-130 (LPR petitioner) being slowed down in processing time?  CSC added just half a month in the official processing time table recently, but I have seen so few approvals reported in April and May, compared to Jan-March.

However, the 8-10 months for CSC doesn't seem to make sense to begin with, approvals within 10 months seem rare regardless of the pandemic.

No, processing does not seem to be impacted. However, you need to put into consideration that all departments work with smaller work force and all processing is anticipated to slow down a bit. F2A approvals have happened as well as NVC DQs for this category

Thank you!  That's great to hear!

Also, my case was last touched on May 4, what's the best way to verify if it was indeed transferred to another service center?

Hi all, just after some advise.

We have been granted our F3 entry visa from the US Embassy in London back in February. We were due to fly out in April but cancelled due to the current situation. The visa expires on June 23rd, can we fly out from London and enter the USA before the expiry given that we are traveling from UK one of the areas currently banned.
