Hello all,

I am in the process of filing my K1 visa. For a copy of my naturalization, I only have an online copy of the front of it. I cant find the original. Will a copy of just the front do?

You can use copy. Everything you sent in will be copies so that will work. Or....you can use your U.S. Passport instead as a proof of citizenship.

Hi Ama,

I am using copies of everything, however I do not have a copy of the back of my naturalization certificate. I am submitting copies of both my passport and naturalization cert, but will they reject it since it is only the front side of it? the back is a blank page.

Why are you submitting both?  One or the other gets it done.  You don't get extra credit for sending in redundant evidence

YMMV

ah ok, lol i just wanted to make sure i have everything so it doesn't get delayed or rejected.

Don't make it harder than it needs to be. Sometimes, we get stuck only because we allow these unnecessary things to be a stopping-block.

Look at the I-129F instructions and follow the "Evidence You Must Submit". You can't go wrong.

Try not to overthink this process. "Do what DO will DO". Just prepare what the instructions ask for. If they want more, they will ask at the interview using the 221(g) form. A small mistake is not going to sink your visa so don't worry about the "unimportant things". Over submitting most times does not guarantee a visa. So why put yourself through all of that.
