My Fiance has her interview date with the Irish Embassy next Tuesday and she was double checking her forms when she noticed that it says she needs a Police Certificate from the town she lived in the USA since she was there for more than a year. She did overstay her visa now and I cant find any information and the Police Department i called doesnt know anything either. Any info would be helpful. Thanks, Mike

One to sent to the US Embassy for a girl in China was $10 at the local police department if you had a record and $5 if you did not. It was on letterhead and signed by the police cheif. It took minutes and they just needed a form filled out with your name, address, and drivers lisence number. I think it could be done over the phone and mailed to you. It took about 10 minutes to do.

Not a problem, the embassy wont need them from USA, that is what all the name checks are during the whole process, they will get any reports from the USA for you from the FBI and other departments.
