i hope this is true. I can see trump being intentionally vague (but not lying) during this press briefing so his hardcore followers can rejoice, when truly he just means greencards from employment based visas will be suspended, not all or family based.

Sounds like everything is still spekulatius... Then I want to speculate that visas are still being issued for immediate family members, everyone can come and be with their loved ones, but greencards won't be issued and mailed out so nobody can steal jobs. Problem solved. I hope those drafting the EO read this.

Does this effect the spouse of us citizens with already issued cr1 visa seeking to enter US? Will she be denied entry as well?

still no one knows, we either need trump to be asked questions at this press conference or wait til the EO is put into place Or wait for someone to leak it

Wait, so us who are sons/daughters over 21 of US Citizens will still be able to migrate if we already have our Visa with a I-551 stamp?

i am a conditional resident, is this something that he can strip? I dont apply until next year and I know permanent status is different than immigration, but I wonder about the "conditional" aspect as i need to ROC next year . My heart also goes out to those here currently waiting in the AOS process (some for over a year)
