I think at this point it's all conjecture. I suspect that the ban will apply to all employment based immigrant visas, but will NOT apply to family-based green cards. Until the details of the EO are fleshed out, we can but speculate.

is this just a hold on adjudicating or will they be denied if they apply meanwhile? what about those already in the us waiting to adjust status? and what about conditional LPRs who are looking to remove conditions? why make people squirm while they are already suffering in a crisis? at least be clear so we know what we are dealing with. honestly appalling

Any opinions on whether this is on the ISSUANCE only or also APPLICATIONS.

i have 54 days left on my “k1 stay”. Married last week. Can I file my AOS in the mean time? Or is that not allowed either?

You should file soon as possible because it will be too late once the Executive Order is set in place.

It feels like he's being intentional vague on what will be in the EO.

because its irrelevant to most people watching. The specifics are a niche interest, although it matters to us, it probably doesnt matter to 85% + of americans so spending time talking about the intricacies of the suspension would be wasting time for this platform.
