TVC was highlighting the hypocrisy of the decision - if everything is improving so wonderfully (as Trump & co like to claim) there should be no reason to shut down something.

Similar to how the current bans from China and Europe were not blocked. The fact that the country is currently in a state of crisis will make if very difficult for a judge to overturn such an action.

People are hurt by this. I have been separated from wife for 3years so are many others who has been separated years longer than mine. This is no joke folks. He should consider others feelings too. Offcourse he knows this will affect loved ones that are separated

Of course not. If you think about it...the people who "legally" immigrate to the US already are some of the most healthiest people in America. Why? Because of all the medical checks, vaccinations and the scrutiny we have to go through (many, many Americans who are born here don't even get the broad level of vaccinations immigrants are subjected to --- many Ani-Vax people). Secondly, what jobs can he be protecting when there are "NO JOBS" -- no economy. If he made the argument that he was protecting further spread of COVID-19 into the country, that would be a different argument (although, with no time nor desire to discuss such things here, the merits of that argument is still baseless).

Actually, I'm not panicking, I'm actually not surprised at the level of depravity this man is willing to go to. Thank goodness he doesn't band Americans from leaving as this is exactly what I planning on doing (depending on how restrictive the EO is), as I can't wait another year (beyond the 2+ already) or more to reunite with my family.

We also have the most cases here, maybe considering to ban Americans from going elsewhere would be the better tactic lol. Sorry. I know many are hurt and afraid in this threat. But I can only laugh about the absurdity
