Hi all, I know Mexico-USA land border crossings are currently banned, but does anyone know if arrivals by air into one of the designated airports is also banned?

Just looking for facts please, not comments about 'why would you be travelling right now etc' which seems to be rife in these forums.

Thankyou.

Acc to the Aeromexico website, flights are not banned as of March 20. I assume it'll be the same for all airlines.

Travel to the United States

This past Friday, March 20, the United States government announced that they would be applying restrictions on all land borders from Mexico for non-essential travel beginning March 21.

At the moment, this restriction does not affect flights between both countries.

The current travel restrictions for passengers entering the United States are only applicable to passengers who have traveled to the People's Republic of China (Mainland China), Islamic Republic of Iran; Ireland, the United Kingdom or any country of the Schengen Zone, 14 days prior to their flight.
