Back in February NVC rejected my husband's birth certificate and I was told it was the wrong one (style) and also needed to upload my divorce certificate from previous marriage. I uploaded my divorce certificate but my husband hasn't been able to get the birth certificate they are asking for, especially now that the office where he would get it is closed due to the virus. Our priority date is May 24th 2019. What can we do if we get pass that date and our petition is still at NVC? Does the date even matter? It is taking them forever just to get back to our case.

Get past what date? our Pd is oct 2018 still stuck at NVC since last year

 

PD only matters to spouses of LPR and then nothing happens until after it becomes current
