Interview will only take few minutes, the waiting time will take about 2-3 hours. I had my interview April 20 at 6:30 am. My husband and I were there at 5am, they let us in at 6am and were interviewed by the pre-interviewer at around 7:30am and the CO at around 8AM. THe CO interview only took like 5 minutes. We were back in the hotel at 8:30AM.

Filed: K-3 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

We arrived around 5:30am for a 7:30am interview. There's not much point in getting there way ahead of schedule by the way. Another couple had the same interview time as us but they arrived at around 7am. We finished at the same time - a little before noon. I'll try to list the process - someone please correct me if I'm wrong:

1. Wait outside for your interview group (by scheduled time) to get called into the embassy. NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED by the way. Go in and sit down where the guard tells you.

2. Wait there until the guard calls your row to get your ticket number - don't lose it or give it to anyone until Window 37 by the way. Return to your seat.

3. Wait and listen for your name to be called to go to finger printing. Return to your seat.

4. Wait for your number to display on the screens and go to that pre-screener window. Give them everything they ask for and return to your seat.

5. Wait for your number to display on the screens and go to that CO interview room. Sit outside until the current interview concludes - usually only a few minutes. Return to your seat after the interview.

6. Wait for your number to be called to go to Window 37 to pay the Delbros fee. Go directly to the Delbros booth near the waiting room entrance.

7. Wait in line to pay the courier fee.

8. Wait nervously for your visa to arrive.

Notice the first word in every step? From the time you arrive at the embassy to the time the visa arrives that's what you'll be doing *a lot* of. :jest:
