Hi all,

I have been searching everywhere to see where I stand regarding getting the stimulus check

I was on a non-resident J1 visa in 2017 so got my SSN and filed taxes in 2017.

I married my US husband 2018 so we filed jointly in 2018 and we have not filed 2019 yet.

We were living abroad 2018-2019, my CR1 visa was approved end of 2019 and we moved to the US December 2019.

Will I be eligible?

Based on my reading, if you and your husband filed a joint tax return in 2018, you as a couple will receive $2,400.  The IRS doesn't know your current immigration status, just that you filed a joint tax return in 2018.
