Questions about the I-129F and I-797...what next?

1) I recently submitted my form I-129F on April 14, 2020 with all requested documentation attached. The USCIS has processed my payment and sent me the following text:

" USCIS: Your case was received. Receipt # WACxxxxxxxxxx. Oficial Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY"

The question is what do I do now? According to https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-information/form-i-797-types-and-functions, Form I-797 (without any suffix) suggests that it was approved. Is it really real or does the USCIS send out the same generic text/email only later for the petitioner to discover I-797E via mail?

2) If I-797 is an authentic approval status, then is there anything that I can do to help my fiancée prepare for the next steps?

2) When renewing a USA passport, does the US Dept. of State send my old passport back? I have unexpired visas that I would like to use to travel back and help her and be participate in the interview.

your case was recd and you are given a WAC #/ nothing has been approved

and there is nothing now to do to prepare for an interview except to file 2019 tax returns

this is gonna take time

There is a big difference between "accepted" and "approved". Your case was accepted and is now sitting there until someone picks it up to go through it.

The first notice of action used to be called "i-797c" (with the c at the end), and the approval notice was called "i-797". Not sure if that's still the case.

Not accepted yet. You have at least 5-7 months before you see NOA2.. Maybe longer. COVID-19 is slowing things down as CSC does not have full staff.

Your old passport expired and if you wish to use the visas you will need to travel with both passports. You should receive it back though.

Yes , the US returns the old passport / mine came about 2 weeks after the new one  (i was surprised that the passport # changed so you may want to update it with USCIS if they still require the USC to submit it with application as they did in 2009)

Thanks for the responses. I got excited when I saw the notification, but it means nothing except that the USCIS has "received" my forms/documents and tossed them into the pile of other cases...

I appreciate the clarification everyone. Thanks again.
