I'll sign, but first stage is 10,000 signatures required, then you have 30 days to get up to 25,000 signatures to get most things on a ballot or even looked at. If you think we have that many members, I say start it up. I'm not even doing a family based visa anytime soon but I'll support it.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

I'm in. Immediately families (spouses and minor children) should have some option. That is, of course, if they develop a way to do it with the safety of all.

What good does a visa do in someone's passport if there is no or limited ability to travel,  visa processing will reopen long before the flights do.

Today we saw the first of many airlines collapsing and filing for bankruptcy

There are flights; albeit less convenient.  What is crazy is that husbands-wives-children are kept apart.  Visa interviews could be done remotely or safely, especially as the USG starts to re-open (now or eventually). This should be the most protected class of immigrants.

The US government reopening is one thing, the conditions in the other country is another.  If something happens it will be so limited.   Some countries are so locked down that no movement by citizens is allowed

YMMV

I'm going for glass half full.  Focus on making visas available, if petitioners are willing.

I get the goal but the issue is broader then an open embassy. Case in point my fiance was issued his visa on Jan 23rd. We had his ticket here booked for March 19th to give us both time to prepare and tie up loose ends in his country. His country sealed its boarders on March 17th nothing in and nothing out. He has a visa with a ticking date of expiration that we hope doesn't run out.

With limited mobility to get here and the presidents current impending ban on immigration. Seems a bit of a mute point.
